Noël nous laisse sans abri

La FLM et ses partenaires se préparent à intervenir dans le pays après le passage de la tempête Noël
 La Fédération Luthérienne Mondiale compte venir en aide aux victimes de la tempête tropicale Noël, suite à une visite de prospection dans le département du Sud Est, au cours de la semaine écoulée. Les zones jusqu'ici visées sont principalement Thiotte et Mapou en partenariat avec la Coordination des Organisations de l'Arrondissement de Belle Anse, CODAB.
La FLM a déjà débloqué, suite au passage de la tempête tropicale Noël, des fonds d'urgences d'un montant de 10,000.00 dollars américain. (...)
Les dégâts causés par la tempête Noël demandent des mesures d'urgences.
Le dernier bilan de la tempête Noël fait état de 64 morts en Haïti.

The grim reminders will take a long time to fade. On entering many homes in Gonaïves, Haiti's fourth largest city, you see the mark on the wall where the water finally stopped rising during September's devastating flood. Unleashed by the rain of Hurricane Jeanne, the water reached almost eight feet high in many parts of Gonaïves.
